Ranveer Allahbadia Apologizes for Controversial Remarks on 'India's Got Latent': "I Shouldn't Have Said That"

Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, has publicly apologized for inappropriate remarks made during his appearance on the YouTube show "India's Got Latent."

In a video shared on social media, he stated, "I shouldn't have said what I said on India's got latent. I'm sorry."

The controversy stemmed from a question Allahbadia posed to a contestant: "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join them to finish it once and for all?" This comment was widely criticized as offensive and inappropriate.

In his apology, Allahbadia acknowledged the lapse in judgment, stating, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry." He emphasized the responsibility of his platform, noting, "The podcast is watched by people of all ages. I don't want to be the kind of person who takes that responsibility lightly." citeturn0search2

Following the incident, a formal complaint was filed against Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, and the organizers of "India's Got Latent." The complaint alleges that the show featured obscene remarks about women, potentially harming viewers, especially minors.

In response to the backlash, Allahbadia requested the show's organizers to remove the insensitive sections from the episode. He concluded his apology by stating, "All I can say in the end is sorry. I hope you can forgive me as a human being."
